My 1979 Manual 928

Hi Chaps,

Hope this is the right place to say hello

I've just purchased a 1979 RHD Manual 928 in what I'm told is Mocha Schwarz.

only 8 owners and 77K on the clock.

I'm sure I'll have a million questions in the not to distant future but for now I'm wading through the history of the car and it seems she was orginally supplied by AFN Middlesex, which I beleive is now a part of Porsche GB?

Other than the obvious (ring them) any tips for finding out exactly what the supplied spec when new would have been and perhaps even obtaining a copy of the orginal invoice?

thanks in advance

Mark

Right then, just to keep this up to date for anyone else searching

After some searching I found

http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=246537

Having followed the number it seems the address and number have now changed somewhat

The Porche Customer Assistance Centre at Porsche GB now deal with this

Porsche Customer Assistance Centre
Porsche Cars GB
Bath Road,
Calcot,
Reading
RG31 7SE

(slightly different postcode to that in the link above)

and their direct number is 0118 9191744

They are supplying me with a letter of origin (Still costs £64.62 as per the link) and are attempting to track me down the original AFN bill of sale as well
