My car as an ashtray!

I woke up this morning to find someone had decided to use the roof of my car as an ashtray! Leaving the ash, butt and a stubbed out brown mark on the roof! I think the less I say the better really.

I had that years ago with a Metro Turbo. I managed to remove the brown colouring with a mild rubbing compound but an indent remained where the heated paint had obviously softened and been pushed down.

Jealousy is a terrible thing

The day has past and I still haven't completely digested what has happened. Three stolen wing mirrors and now this... unbelievable. I work two hours an hour, pay ridiculous amounts of TAX which then pays their dole & this is the thanks I get.

B$%ar$s why oh why ? Gutted for you. Hope you get sorted. Any chance of storing your vehicle somewhere else?

We went to a body shop yesterday on a R25 visit. In the workshop they had a Lamborghini that some selfish "ingoranous", (could have used numerous expletives here), had keyed on every single panel, the door mirrors and even the plastic light units.

These people do need to get a life !

How screwed up must your life be to think that doing that to someone's car is the right thing to do?

No, the reality is "how drunk do you have to be". Perpetrator was probably so drunk he didn't know he'd done it.

Reminds me of the only time I ever parked my 964 overnight in London by the roadside. I came back to find someone had kindly jumped on the bonnet, stoving it in. Drunken yobs also on that occasion, I'm afraid.

Sorry to hear about it anyway, hope you get it fixed soon (and cheaply).

She is normally parked underground in a private car park away from sh*theads because of the mirror incidents experienced, kept her out over night just the once because it was late and didn't really want to have to walk back from the garage to get to bed. Basically the weekend was not a kind one for me"¦

Must be the time of year Andy.

We had our R1 Spring clean event at a Porsche friendly bodyshop last week-end and there was a Lambo there that someone had poured brake fluid or some such paint hating liquid over just about every body panel.

You're wrong though Andy - they don't need to get a life, they need to get life
