My car beeps at me

Can anyone help here....

When I drive over a rough bit of road (which is frankly every journey I make given the state of the roads), my car makes 2 beeping noises in the cabin which I would like to switch off.

I might be being thick here but I can't find anything in the menus and couldn't find anything on google.

Any suggestions ?

Do you have the Porsche Dashcam installed?

If it detects an "event" then it will save that piece of recording and beeps to let you know. A bumpy road can be sufficient to trigger this. On the camera unit iirc you'll get an LED and a message too.

I imagine you can adjust sensitivity and sounds in the associated App? I never got that far as I was on a test drive when I discovered the above.

If no dashcam then we'll have to explore other options...

There is a Porsche dashcam installed which was on the car when I bought it - to be honest I’d forgotten it was there and I think you’ve just answered my question:)

thank you !!!

I’ll do some research to see if I can work out how to get into the menus.

cheers

Great. Hopefully that is where the noises are emanating from and it's a straightforward "fix".

Even full acceleration and heavy braking were triggering it in the one I experienced, which was quite distracting until I worked out what it was.
