My car whistles at me

Worth checking all the face vents to make sure they are all fully open as any closed vents will force all the air through a smaller number of vents and the higher speed air could make a whistling sound.

My climate control whistles at me. The noise is caused by the fan whilst cooling the car, and whilst not loud it is annoying. Is this normal for a Cayman system?

My Golf with climate control never did this, so why does my Porsche?

Tried that. But the answers given seem to indicate all may not be OK. Time to go to nearest OPC I think to see what theirs sound like.

I'd be surprised if there is anything wrong. Did you find any of the vents shut? When the car is first started the climate has a lot to do to bring the cabin to a comfortable setting and will go to a high fan speed, hence a lot of noise until it settles down, but then that is true on all cars.

All vents are open, or at least the dials/knobs are in the open position. The noise is not the start up high speed fan, it is after the system has settled down.
