The car is amazing I think but really could someone elses view point so will be going to the local meets in or near staffordshire. It good a folder full of history and a solid car not rust or rot very clean in and out. I want it to look nice and keep it on the road as i see so many been broken its so sad. Looking forward to the advice and post and new friends I can meet here.

Will add some pics when i figure it out

Hello and welcome[8D] Thats a great looking car in great condidtion and at a very good price. Enjoy[8D] Stu

Great car and a great price too![;)]welcome to Porsche world. I got the Porsche bug with a 1983 944 and followed it up with my current 1986 Lux model. They are great cars.[:)]

Nice looking car! New timing belts as well - that's good. Hope you enjoy driving it. They are simply superb cars. Oli. P.S. Some people on here may try and tell you that red ones are either faster or slower than other colours. It's a myth, just in case you were wondering. [;)]

Looks good, although don't be sure about 135 miles being accurate! [:D] I was followed by an early car yesterday and they look fantastic on Fuchs. If the bodywork is sound then it'll be worth treating the inside of the cills and wheel arches to keep it that way. Set the filter on this forum to "display topics from last 365 days" and settle down to a crash course in everything you ever wanted to know about the 944. Why not bring it along on the 7th December, you'll meet a load of other owners and enthusiasts. http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=408398

Hello and Welcome...! Thats a cracking car you got there....Well done... Early cars getting scarce which is a pity ...Even a relatively minor failure means a good useable car is often broken up , raped and pillaged ..... ..Now would be a good time to do as Paul recommends and treat the sills and wheelarches that way she will last well into the future. The belts being done is a big bonus.....! I always love to see a 944 in among the usual day to day traffic ......... Be prepared for admiring glances ...!

Welcome to the forum. For bodywork I can recommend somewhere whom i've used (and Ed) based in Derby so not too far from you. Havn't got my phone handy at the moment but will supply the details shortly.
