so I've been on a little trip over the past week as those that know me on facebook will have seen
the plan to spend a few days in Monaco meeting up with friends and also drive some awesome roads and alpine passes that i would come across including route napolean, route des alpes, furka pass, st bernadino pass
coincidentally at first but then with a bit of planning and minor diversions managed to visit 7 race (or former race) circuits in 5 countries which i'll be topping off by going silverstone tomorrow for motogp - making it 8 tracks, 6 countries, 8 days
the circuits-
Reims-Gueux - a road based circuit that was host to french GP races up until 1966
Monaco - probably the most famous race circuit of them all even though for most of the year its just normal streets
Monza - busy hosting the arrival of the F1 circus for this weekend's GP
HockenheimRing was my next stop
Nurburgring GP circuit
The former Nurburg GP circuit now known as the Nordschleife now mostly used as a private track for testing and people that want to thrash their own motors round
and a fleeting glimpse of the new Aston Martin GT8 press test car outside their Nurburgring test centre
Spa Francochamps was next on the list as I'm now heading homeward
Finally a a video of some extracts taking of various views including some car exotica in the underground car parks of my hotel and a drive around the Monaco circuit as much as I could at around 7 minutes
