My Nuts Are Rusty

The snapper is going in for its first MOT and 111 point pre warranty inspection. I'm on my second set of wheelnuts and wondered if anyone has a solution to the Nut Rust problem? Just whingeing and demanding another set that'll only go the same way as the last two sets seems pointless somehow.

I painted mine with black Hammerite, and also use a set of the plastic nut covers that you can get on eBay. No rusty nuts for me. [;)]

They are a bit too long, so I cut them down a bit to look neater. [;)]

Removed mine one at a teime and sprayed them with silver spray paint - i think i used a Honda colour, its alittle brighter than the wheel itself but only i'd ever notice.

Wash the wheels BY HAND with warm CAR shampoo water and your nuts will never ever rust again! If the wheels are only lightly soiled then just warm water is fine too. Job done problem solved Look MINI daily driver and no rust in sight [;)]
