Having ooked at the pics and description Nick, can I say what a lovely car - beautiful in fact!

I forgot to say Nick, I have a feeling I know the chap who restored it in Yarmouth. If I am not mistaken he did quite a feww early 911s and I sold him my old 72 911T which was Sepia Brown. He did a few areas of paint and then sold it on again. May be a different chap but he has a classic car restoration business near Yarmouth and I' m sure he specialised in MGs - if it was him the work he did was very good and he knew his stuff. The 911T is now owned by a real enthusiast who I met at Aircooled Day 2003 - pic attached - it was a great car!

As far as I remember he was going to cease the restoration business and become a teacher/lecturer. This would have been 6 or so years ago

I just got off the phone with Chris Eager, he did do the restoration on the ' 12 and remembers Bootsy' s 911T with affection. He is now a teacher but still restoring Porsches, he has just finished the welding on a ' 74, 2.7 Carrera Targa.

Hopefully he will be joing us soon on the forum

What a small small world! The 911T has had an engine rebuild and respray since he sold it and regularly gets a bit of track action these days.

Good to hear about him - he seemed a really good guy who knew his stuff and what I saw of his bodywork when he finished the 911 - it was very good.

Wow as soon as I get this bl*&^y money togeather I will come down for the bonnet and the tour of the car cool...[:D]
