Hi guys, thought i might share my developments so far having bought this beautiful 1992 K-Reg C4 964 in white during Summer 2009, previously owned by an Porsche Owners Club member here.

Here she is......

She was in excellent condition much thanks to the previous owners, who spent whatever was needed to keep her up-to-date.

It has taken me some time to find the right car to come along, having seen this car with such spec. As mentioned in white with blue and light grey interior. Exterior she wore 17" Porsche Cup1s with Yokohama A52s accompanied a set of sport suspension.

To top this she had new clear light lens, teardrop mirrors, new sill rubbers and no common rust spots. By the look of the car, whatever she needed maintaining in the past, it was done and spent. Obviously, at this age of car, what car has'nt had paint?

This car had signs of paint due to the slight unmatch in paint in odd panel, it had a few stonechips, minute of dents but overall a very high standard and maintained condition car.

Two months ago, I decided to take her off the road to give her a new perfect lease of life.

Here she is half stripped ready to tackle the body.....

Very nice! At the moment lookng for a 964 for my uncle, and came accross this whte targa. Tell us how you get on.

At the beginning, a white 964 wasnt my 1st choice of colour. But having gone through my search looking for a silver one, I came across 2 white models on the way, one of which belonged to Marcus (The Goose), whom i would of loved to buy from.

The search continued and it became apparent that silver was hard to find, even white manual C2 and C4 at this minute with low miles and good history.

My mind was made straight away whilst seeing her on the forecourt of a Porsche Specialist, looking clean, crisp and so update.

She has a nice colour combo interior in light grey and blue.

wow its soo beautiful!

The interior sets it off perfectly, it certainly looks very fresh, clean and elegant.

its a nice plus to have seen in the POC magazine too!

On the note of driving, I've been getting used to mine all day. The pedals certainly were very strange having never driven with floor mounted controls before.

I'll bet you cant wait to get it back huh?

Result! car was prepped, primed and painted in the weekend......

this was the shine from just out of the gun, not rubbed down yet!

Looks great! At least you dont have the usual rust spots to contend with!

How much is a full respray these days?

Shes painted now, new rubbers, fresh seals, glass, new light lens(hmmmmmm the picture doesnt look like there new!) ready to put back in.

New front lights and new seals in, and bonnet back on. Very happy with the finish and not even flattend and polished.

Waiting to fit doors, and making a trip to pickup new sill clips and plastic door sills.

Whilst the rear bumper was off, the bumper brackets needed replacing, rusty! the exhaust heat shield was warped and deformed, the rear beam wasnt clever neither, all needed replacing. A nice exhaust would be nice on the list, but later!
