Hi my friends, with the Porsche 964 RS

I want to present to you a new 911, which is to join the RS 964 from Bale.
This time is a much older 911, but for me, one of the wonders created by Porsche Motorsport for their career-clients

The model now joins the faithful 964 RS is a Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 with FIA papers, a car of 900 kg and 350 hp at 8,000 rpm

It is a pleasure for me to show all my friends, Melvin, Charles, Phil and all .....

Best regards to all my friends pistards.

Josep

Looks like a beautiful car!! With 350bhp and 900kg I bet it's lively.

P.S. 'Pistards' the perfect collective noun for Melvin, Charles, Phil and all... [:D][;)]

Yubba yubba!! Is that a 'real' one Josep???[:)]

PS Inglorious Pistards perlease.......

that is beautiful, have found myself looking at these rsr alot lately

I also had a good time looking for RSR. This is newly renovated, was a pilot who used it in 1974.
The car has two types of suspension, circuit and rally, now is the suspension of track (with many possible settings)
The chassis and has a fantastic setup, we still work on the injection, to be completely set, it is able to turn to the 9,000 rpm (although changing relationship to 8,000 + / -)
I own 8 sets of wheels with tires (dry and water) one of the sets of tires is the typical black blades.
Also the assembly has a second shorter gearbox, for rallying, with a maximum speed of 180 km / h
We also have another set of camshafts, to rally, with lower, and various types of springs of different hardness.

Phil Knight, is great. It has been difficult to find this new drive, a former Spanish rider.
I am very happy with the purchase of this car ..... RS 964 in addition to true.

He wanted you, my friends in the CPGB, and fellow track, know of my happiness.

Best regards ...... I hope to ride with you, with the 964 3.0 RS or RSR
Your Porsche 993 RS Supercup is another wonder of unity. Congratulations.

See you soon.

Joseph

Hi Josep, congrats looks like a great car! Will you bring it to the PCF Days 2013?
Hi Phil
This year, tired of the lack of seriousness of the organization, decided not to attend, just finish the SPD 2011.
I know, is that the test has not improved, has added a new category (Classics-no slicks) that remains for us time to train others.
If the program does not substantially change the PCF, and the treatment of workers also do not think I will.
I have no definite program, but for now, Porsche Francorchamps Days, do not enter into my plans for 2013 ....... street car too, and few good cars to admire.

Best regards

Joseph

It is true that the PCF Days have changed in the 12 editions in which I participated.

For example, in the second edition, I shared the track with a genuine 917/30 driven by Willy Khausen.

Over the years, I spotted on the track genuine 935s, a few SC/RSs, 908s, 550s and other similar gems.

Now, it is mostly GT3 of all sorts.

That is the decline, which I mean Phil, ...... and special cars are not registered with history, GT3 and GT3 simply ...... the proof is losing its glamor and is no longer able to gather, outstanding coaches, to be run at other meetings ... .. I'm thinking the same.
Running with you to the historic 993 RS Supercup, was exceptional, two great cars .... Cup 92 and another one of the 94
Really interesting and pretty.

Best regards Phil

Hi Josep , that RSR is truly a brilliant car . You are a lucky man !

There was a 74RSR replica for sale here in UK this year , a bit expensive but cheaper than the cost of building one up . Unfortunately only really suitable for historic racing or a trackday at Spa where noise does not count [:D]
If any of my grown up children had a garage to hide it in then I might have bought it , having sold the 964RS [:(]

I have sent a constructive email to the organisers of the PCF Days suggesting an extension of the Classic category to all "pre-996" Porsche, with or without slicks. This might restore the diversity of Porsches on the track that was a while back a great feature of this event. I will keep you posted when I receive their reply.

No surprises there -I could see the writing on the wall a few years ago as the air-cooled/water cooled ratio changed in favour of the later cars.....sad, but true and it kind of put me off going again.....

Just all club together and we'll hire a 997 Cup.

Roller coaster ride round Spa!

Put the old stuff in the museum or let Rich polish it.

I like your Melvin. Spa with so many street cars, does not seduce me as before.
You also made "‹"‹the decision to attend racing other tests. I see pictures of you on the network runs in GB ...... good decision, Melvin!

Best regards Joseph ........ air-cooled for ever !! [:D] [:D]

Hi Charles, I do not like, the new Porsche, I love the true classics, are expensive, but they are an investment, as well as being authentic race-cars. I really like.
I was 19 years, when the 3.0 RSR completely dominated the GT class.

I know I'm not quite sane, a little crazy, hahahaha ..... but love, the Classics.

Always a pleasure to train with you all.

Best regards

Joseph

That is my favorite picture Josep! I liked the old days at Spa up to 2008.

Your new car looks great! I think classic Lemans is the place to go and race now.
