My SC is for sale - see sale section

i need the balance for the 993 so feel free to buy it and sell it on.

cheers.

If i didnt need the money i would have started at 8795 and propably gone done to 8000 for a sale

Cheers Elliot

We have just done the same thing.
The 993 is more comfortable and easier to drive, the SC more fun and 'seat of the pants'.

I guess that's why I have the Boxster - it's also more comfortable and easier to drive compared with the SC. However, having the two is a bit of an indulgence. To my mind, a 993 would give me the thrills when required, but will also be the car for the long trips to Scotland which I need to make now and again. Am I right?

Sorry for hijacking your thread Elliot - good luck with your sale.

Hmmm - each to their own but, and of course these are just my thoughts, a 993 will be much closer to the Boxster in the civility stakes.

You have a nice contrast in the two cars currently.

Boxster when you want civility and the SC when you want something more raw and 'connected'.

Perfect!

No problems

SC sold now and i have moved on to a 1996 midnight blue 993

Starts first time, idles faultlessly, doesnt use excessive oil, smooth but raw, warm in the cabin and 6 gears god what a difference.

i think i would only go back to an SC as a second car now or as a ligtweight project.

It was fun whilst it lasted but the 993 was my dream car and at last i have one.
