My 'secret' 924

I have reluctantly had to make the decision to sell my lovely 1985 924 lux. it has been SORN'ED for the last 12 years!!!, it was serviced and had a complete glass out respray 12 years ago, and was then 'put away' as I then had various company cars..... it has been regulary started and backed in and out of the garage on fine days, and only covered 400 miles between its last two mot''s. I've owned the car since 1991, and bought it with 61k on the clock. it's now showing 124,000, all done by me. The car is stunning in Garnet Red, and was one of the last 2.0lts to be brought into the UK. it has been stored under blankets and car cover, and starts first time when battery is reconnected. The respray cost £3000 12 years ago..... I'm looking for offers around £1600....car will need to be MOT'd . Really don't want to sell, but needs must as I'm still only on a temp work contract... :|

Sounds like a secret gem indeed [:)]

Paul, that would be very welcome, thanks. Can you pick up my PM and email it?

If not can you simply forward to him my email address johnh@arthurlea.com as I would like to know a bit more about his car.

Thanks

John H

I've mailed him and asked him to check the thread and add a phone number. Of course, it relies on the email address on the database being up to date, which it often isn't! [&o]

The original poster is also posting on another forum: I'll ping him a pm to ask him to revisit this thread.

Kind regards,

Bert
