Should of got round to posting this months ago. This is my '91 MO30 spec car when it came out the garage with out the fear of drowning or gale damage!

The wheels are Veloce 3.6's from PWS. They have changed the handling, but not much at all since a full G.O, and it does over tyre the car but the grip levels now are amusing! I've only got one of the fronts on the scales so far and with tyre its just under 2kg heavier than the 16" design 90. I've had them on the car for a couple of months and theres no sign of any problems with the finish, all in all very happy with them.

Wow [8D] That does look drop dead gorgeous Will, and those wheels finish it off an absolute treat. What size are the tyres - 225 front 265 rear?

I bet it breaks your heart to take it out in all our winter salt, mud, grit and general muck [:'(]

Hi,

Great looking car! I have the same wheels on my 944 Turbo and I can also confirm that they work very well. They are a little heavier than a standard wheel, but look great and keep their finish too.

Do you have 928 GTS front brake callipers or painted originals?

We did have a number of discounted sets of the V3.6 wheels, but they've all gone now (the last few for ÂŁ725 inc.!). Still available from PWS (at ÂŁ998.75) and other dealers (at ÂŁ899.95). Has anybody seen the new Veloce XS wheel (in black or silver). It's 19" only - looks nice though.

Regards,
Andrew

Hey lovely car looks fab

Wheels look great, would like a set but must be sensible and have a few paint issues sorted first.

Although it is my B Day in a few months, must leave picky of wheels for other half to see!!!

Cheers

Thanks for the coments, the previous owner should take some of the credit though, as from the outside all I've had to do is pop the wheels on and apply plenty of elbow grease. I just cant wait for the summer so it can used properly again.

The tyres are 225 front and 265 rear, and there is zero rubbing on the arches.

The brakes are MO30's reconditioned and powder coated red.

It looks immaculate. I wish I could keep mine so spotless but I never seem to be able to find the time at the moment - three months without a wash and counting. I've got an unopened pot of Zymol on the a shelf in my garage which makes me feel guilty every time I see it! Oh well when the spring comes I think i'll spend an afternoon with her and a packet of microfibre cloths!

Lovely car !

Have managed to keep mine cleaned reasonably regularly but she really could do with a bit of pampering and zymoling sometime soon [&:]

i'm one of those "what's wrong with the original steering wheel / design 90's blah blah blah why waste your money blah blah blah". Really like those wheels though. And the calipers. And the door mirrors. I hope this point of view will pass.

Lovely looking car!

I really want some cup mirrors and 968 door handles - I think it finishes the car perfectly but can't justify the cost (or at least find any at a reasonable price).

I've finally got around to fitting 18" wheels to mine yesterday, it's a superb cosmetic gain, finally filling those vast arches.....

Who is the manufacturer of those Veloce wheels? They look a lot like german Keskin wheels. Keskins are much hevier than original Porsche wheels. How much of clearance there is between front brake caliper and wheel? I might also buy a set of those Veloces if they can be fitted with GT2 six piston calipers i currently have under my 951
