MY09 On Test

What are those awful carbuncles stuck on the back bumper? For the US, I presume........

TBH we all moan about the insignificant facelift changes, but I'm sure that if the changes were more drastic the pre-facelift models would take a greater hit come re-sale time as your average Joe would be able to actually tell the difference between old and new.[:-]
But really, it can't possibly take more than 2 people half a lunch-break to come up with those changes?[8D]

Surely it wouldn't take more than one highly tuned Porsche designer half a coffee break to come up with all these mods unless of course they have switched from slot to pozi fixing screws then that would be 2 men half a lunch break [:D] . . .

Refs the average Joe ... he must be the OPC sales person because they push like stink when there are a few mods to a MY [:D] I remember the heavy sucking in of air when I was told the 987 S 3.4 is going to hurt 3.2 residuals ... Guess he was referring to the 0.01 sec reduction in the 0-62mph sprint being a real deal maker come resale time to Joe

Can you imagine the unbearable stress during that facelift meeting in '04?
Being delt the bombshell that they only had 5 years to make the least noticeable difference to the car.
How could they possibly cope with 5 years to do what they did....think of their ruined family lives.....
Why doesn't anyone think of the children??[8D]

Strong contender for easiest job in the world? I think so.[;)]

Even stronger contender for "easiest to please" Billy Bunters in the world [&:]

Exhaust looks different ..maybe there are some performance mods? Front bumper looks a bit less aggressive with the rounder edges on the radiator intakes. That said it may prevent so many leaves entering the duct and rotting the radiators away so quickly. The rest of the lights modification looks like a disguise more than a real styling difference. I'd suggest this is a test mule for mechanicals more than bodywork. They probably want to check the revised front bumper doesnt affect lift and cooling. Also the mirrors look a little deeper in depth ?
