MY2007 997.1 C4S brake calliper touch-up paint

I've got a couple of stone/carelessness chips on my (red) callipers, and i can't get an answer out of Porsche apart from calliper refurb (which isn't needed) - the chips are pretty small.

I Have had a look at forums, but no clear/consistent advice - I understand a heat resistant paint would be needed.

Can anyone advise best solution to touch-in the chips?
 
Porsche shop and the likes do a caliper paint kit for about £25.. It's standard Guards Red and whilst not necessary the heat resistant may make it less likely to discolour.. garyw
 
Thanks Gary - I should have realised it was Guards Red. The porscheshop paint seems to be more for total calliper painting as opposed to touching in chips. My chips are pretty minor and I think I'll be fine with conventional touch-up paint.
 
For the odd chip, you might get away with http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-150ml-Bright-Red-Gloss-Brake-Caliper-Paint-Heat-Resistant-/290652989389?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item43ac44a7cd#ht_701wt_1413 I used something very similar when I had to machine down pads for my RS4 - didn't want to leave them bare metal and the yellow I bought from somewhere similar lasted well.
 
For the red caliper if you just want a touch up pen Ford collarado Red is the nearest colour match, about £2.95 for a pen then touch over the top with laquer pen.
 
Yes, I am sure it is, but/and I think folks are just suggesting cheaper (pens, touch-ups etc) and/or more durable (heat resistant) alternatives. I suspect you'd get away without calliper paint for a small touch up job, and then again if it came off, not a big deal to repeat.
 
Ah - ok. I'll get the Porsche stuff - OPC is just down the road, and will keep my warranty intact;-) ...any excuse
