Mystery switch help needed

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could identify what seems to be a factory fitted switch built in to the trim directly below the glovebox on the passenger side. I don't know where the wires go - and switching the rocker one way or the other doesn't seem to affect central locking, alarm, engine performance etc. Any ideas??

It might be an old fashioned immobilser switch thats been disconected
