N rated tyres - manufacturers ?

In relation to the N rated tyre thread previously, do we have a comprehensive list of tyre manufacturers that supply N rated tyres (not necessarily for Boxsters, but Porsches in general).
Apologies if this topic is elsewhere (I have searched but could not find anything).

Thanks

From memory:

Michelin
Dunlop
Pirelli
Goodyear
Yokohama
Bridgestone
Continental

I think that's it. Not all manufacturers make tyres in all sizes for all models though.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Continental Sport Contact 2 N2 and the normal Continental Sport Contact 2? They look the same to me but I presume there is a subtle difference somewhere!

Are you asking what is the different between a N rate tyre and the equivalent tyre for all other cars?

Well, see my comment on new Michelin Pilot Sports 2 (last paragraph in the link below) which would apply to the new Contis too:

Tread patterns look similiar to me on the Conti's (N and non N)

The whole thing about Porsche tyres seems to be a minefield! Or should I say tyres for your Porsche.

As I mentioned, modern tyres are exactly the same visually i.e. tread pattern wise for N and non N, so it could be either now those manufacturers design a new tyre get then N rate them and finally use the benefit of Porsche testing to make all high performance tyres.

It doesn't have to be a minefield, well at least for modern Porsche built after the N rating was introduced; if they are the same visually then just think of it as you get tyres with a special N and you know in most case they were specifically tested on your Porsche model. Hope you read the link on the N rating in my thread which explains everything.

As the price difference seems to be only a couple of Pounds, I'd stick with the N version.

At Costco, the N rated Michs are actually a couple of Pounds less (than non-N rated)!

Here's an extract from the TSB which lists the approved tyres.
Edit: For 986
