I am looking to replace the clear stone guard protectors on my narrow bodied 993.
Having previously done this on another car I used Porsche original parts.
I noticed on Rennlist that some of out american friends had actually sourced theirs from prestige parts on Ebay UK........PP no longer seem to be on ebay, has anyone replaced their stone guards with decent cost effective replicas or are Porsche originals the only way to go?

I have he same problem - not too afraid of opc price (£80 for both i believe), but not sure about DIY removal ofold ones and fitment of new ones! Anyone completed this themselves? Did they come off without the paint !!!!

I spoke to an OPC in Tonbridge recently and they quoted £160 to remove the old ones and fit new. I think you would have to be very careful not to damage the paint underneath. If anyone has removed these themself I would be interested in some advice on how.

My 993 is going in for some work soon, just bought some new stonguards, roughly £70 for the pair (both).

Nick.
