Looks like a great event but thought it was a purely Porsche weekend Some seemed to be have been disappointing about the lack of track time on the parade lap .

I sat and watched the parade lap from the Straight/Luffield stand.

I can tell you from the stand it looked great. Just a mass of cars and as the last ones left the old Bridge area and entered the first Luffield corner so about 50 yards behind them were those coming down the Wellington Straight to join the end of those who started from PCGB Bridge Club area.

I don't quite understand hope some people thought they may be in for a 'brisk' lap. One thousand Two Hundred and eight Porsche cars on track
is never going to equal a track day. It was billed as a 'Parade' and that what it was - A very special one! Well done to all who took part.

Is there a video of the parade lap ? As a participant I never got to view the spectacle . The two hours hanging about initially was a tad frustrating . A parade lap is what it was - never to be confused with a track day.

Lots of Video action just go to Utube http://www.youtube.com/

And key silverstone classic Porsche Parade

Think we were pretty lucky...Joined the circuit at Stowe and gunned it. Well over a ton down the International Pit Straight and only started to get slowed down at Village. Another blast down the Wellington Straight as a gap opened up. Was then a crawl back to Stowe. So much fun. Shame I was a passenger, again!
