Dear Members

Some of you may be intending to come to Cornbury House on 4th March for the Open Day, or to attend the Concours Committee Meeting. We intend driving to Ragley Hall for approx. 2pm to hold an informal photoshoot. Ragley is about 35 mins from Moreton in Marsh, very near Alcester. This is so we can take some shots of Member's cars to use to promote our National Event and Festival taking place at Ragley on 9th September.

If any of you are interested in taking part, or indeed offering your photography services, please drop Jenni or me a line in club office on events@porscheclubgb.com, or clubmanager@porscheclubgb.com. Please give details of your name, membership number, Porsche, and its colour. We will need a selection of different types of Porsches, in varied colours; we will also need the birthday models ie 944, 928, 911s, 996, and possibly a 956, if someone can kindly bring one.

It will be fun and an opportunity for your lovely cars to appear in the Festival literature and promotion campaign.

Thanks for your enthusiasm, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Lou

Hi Paul
In case you have not seen my reply elsewhere on this forum, we are part of the Concours Committee and we are coming up in Tony's 944 S2 Cab (Maritime Blue) and I have volunteered to do the photography.

Another case of announcement to the masses once all the posts are filled? [;)]

I have no doubt that, with several cars, there might be opportunity for others to have a go as well. [8|]

E-mail back from HQ looks like the E2P (Essex Photo Posse) are going to be deploying their Canon L's as well.

Mr Cannell is concerned that I may not have a light tent big enough so I was wondering if anyone had any parachutes, or perhaps a white hot air balloon, I could borrow. [:D]

Sorry, Harriet, no-one told me! Still, more than one car can't be a bad thing, and it's always nice to offer the chance to members who haven't been involved in anything like this before. It really surprised me how many people were quite upset that I used my "position" to get priority parking at Eynsham, when in fact I'd asked NOT to be in the RWB display!

Best wishes,

Thanks John!

As I'm probably unable to go you may have to be given temporary "official" status. I will try to get there for the afternoon.
