Just returned from the nec classic car show, took my black 944s up and back never missed a beat, great show some fabulous vehicles up there but I was disappointed that there was not one 944 there to fly the flag!!! I visited the porsche club and there were numerous 911's all very nice and even a 924 and a 928 but no 944[:(] the porsche 924 club was there and many boxters, not really a proper classic yet in my opinion, I just hope next year the gap is filled, but great show all the same

There were 2 944's on display last year, but as it was the 50th Anniversary of the 911 I expect they decided to go with the 911's this year

Just got back, great show the hospitality received from PCGB stand was fantastic, yep not one 944 to be seen anywhere but quite a few of the car owners on the PCGB stand do own 944's also !
As already posted this year is the year of the 911.
Martin, Mike was offered a genuine 40k for his car !! declined of course !
Some cracking 924's there hopefully a prescence for the 944 next year, we could always look to see if we could have a registar stand prescence next year ?
We can provide some cracking examples !
Good weekend all round.

Just to add to that.
If you had bought a 'Bike Show ticket' cheaper than the full one you could have gone into the car show with it as they were not checing tickets between the two on Saturday and Sunday.[:-]

I've gone every year for at least the last ten years, thought this years was the worst by far, the auto jumble is now just mass produced tat, every other stall sells the same stuff, the genuine autojumblers obviously stay away.

The club stands seemed very compact and the show halls strangely laid out.

PCGB stand was good, big area, one of the best and I got a free cup of tea [:D]

Think I'll sort a trip to Beaulieu Autojumble next year instead.

There was one 944 at the show. It was on the car auction stand, a rubystone 944S2 with a price of £6K on its roof.

How much?

Damn, I thought I was being greedy asking £6k for my 951 when I was considering selling!
