A quick reminder that it’s still not too late to get your tickets for the 2022 NEC Classic. I know that a few R3 members have already booked up for this event so you’re sure to bump into a friendly face or two if you are attending over the weekend.

The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show always brings together a great array of classic car and motorcycle clubs along with their iconic classic and vintage cars and motorbikes, is an event not to be missed. No matter what you’re looking for this is the ultimate season finale for any classic car/bike owner, collector, enthusiast, club member, or simply anyone with a passion for classic vehicles.

This year we are promised yet another great club presence and a stunning display of member-owned cars, which you will find located in hall one, stand 100. Also don’t forget, members can still enjoy a discount off advance ticket purchases, but you must login to use the exclusive club discount code and remember it’s always substantially cheaper to pre-book your parking before you go.

I'm heading down to the NEC on Saturday 12th with Steve. Tickets already purchased.

Need to look at paying for parking in advance. I've never done that in the past.

 
Going down for the day on Friday. I don't get let out for the weekend, even with good behaviour!

 
Just a quick heads up for anyone heading off to the NEC this weekend. Although HQ will be in attendance this year, they definitely won’t be serving up any complimentary drinks, however there will be a small seating area offering PCGB members a meeting point, so make sure you don’t forget your membership card or make sure you’re able to show proof of membership from your club profile on your smartphone.

 
Bit of a disappointing stand for PCGB at the show this year in my opinion.

No complementary tea or coffee for members as Greg had already mentioned, no club merchandise just a handful of cars and a few tables and chairs, not really much different to TIPEC really.

Not certain what extra I'm getting from PCGB at the moment over the much cheaper TIPEC membership :rolleyes:
