I have been told that the buildings where the 924 was built have been pulled down years ago and redeveloped, but can anyone pinpoint where the factory would have been, or does anyone have any aerial pictures, production line photos?

I'm told the 924 took over the same building where the NSU Ro80 rotary engined car was made, so that might make finding it easier.

The Nerkarsulm works were where the NSU motorcycles were made. They were at one time Germany's biggest bike manufacurer and Word Champions for most of the 1950's.
The Factory origianally made sewing machines hense the name (excure the spelling) Nekarsulm Stitchmachinenunion.

No they were made by VW and shipped there. The Turbo engines were (short engine only) shipped to Stuttgart for building with Porsche only parts and then shipped to MSU for fitting.
