Need a bit of expert advice

Hi all,

I'm mid restoration on my 1970 911 T, its having some body work done at the moment. (Pic attached) I'm trying to figure out if this hole on the sill (Between door & the wing) should be filled or left open. As is, it looks prone to rust. Just wondering if anyone has a similar model that could send me a pic as to what their car looks like in this area.

Cant figure out if I am missing some rubber seals or something like that and frankly the haynes manual isn't much help.

Thanks in advance for any help..

Mark

I'm having trouble starting my 1976 911 Carrera 3 after its winter layup. We have fuel at the injectors and sparks at the plugs. It turns over and tries to start but won't actually fire up. Any suggestions as to our next course of action. Cheers
