An old "friend" took apart my 944t over a year and a half ago and after constant attempts to get my engine back from him i have finally reclaimed my head from the ****!!! Only problem is i'm not exactly what you would call a mechanic. So does anyone know of a reliable mechainc in the South-east england, Kent area that could do this, bearing in mind i can't move the dam thing out of my garage! Also anyone know where I can get valve springs and colletts as he has helpfully lost these!!

You could try Weston's and independant dealer in Beckenham if you are close enough, though he does tend to get a long waiting list. Also for parts I have found BERLIN services to be top notch and good prices for OEM parts.

Just to avoid confusion, the company is called BERLYN SERVICES, run by Bert Gear and his web site is at www.partsforporsche.co.uk
