I don't think there's alot of classic policies that do Track Inusrance as well, although there are plenty of specialist companies that offer it by itself.
Break down recovery. (reasonabley comprehensive)
PCGB organised trackdays.
Agreed value of £7k
K&N filter
18" alloys + Micheline Pilot sports
5000 miles PA
Excess £150
Fully comp.
Social domestic pleasure, and commuting.
£100 contents.
£150 audio
European cover
£50 Windscreen excess
I am 35, 3 points on license, One accident 13 months ago, £1600 cost of claim.
Car alarmed and immobilised, Garaged at night, Locks on Alloy. Central Edinburgh.
This policy does not use your NCB, useful if it is your first second car and you don't have a NCB.
Car owned two years. Second car. Access to company car at work.
If I change the chip there will be an increase of 25% in the premium. (extra £75 approx)
Car must be garaged when within half a mile of home.
This was not the cheapest quote, but offered the most for the price. Cheapest was RH at £286. No track day and a few other restrictions I didn't like.

They're certainly worth a call. However, I digress...
I was asking NU about insurance on another vehicle, for which a classic policy would be best. They don't 'do classic' so kindly pointed me to Carole Nash who provided me a very good quote for the other vehicle.
While I was talking to CN, I asked them (purely out of interest) what they would quote me for a classic policy on my 944S, which is now 17 years old.
Apparently, CN don't any longer offer classic insurance policies on Porsche !!
This confuses me no end, particularly as they sponsor the 'Carole Nash Cotswold Rally' with PCGB, which im taking part in on 8th May ....
Does any one know different to the above ???

Try this as a good alternative
Insured with Allianz Cornhill
1989 944 Turbo
Agreed value £8000 (£10 per £1k over this to match club valuation when it comes through)
Milage limited to 5000 pa
Garaged
Declared my £1600 bump last year & my SP30 from 2003
Premium can be paid by instalments 10% deposit & straight split into 11 payments by DD for the balence.
Only £220.50, inc insurance premium tax, with £100 excess (£60 for glass)
This is over £50 less than the £275.10 I paid Heritage last year and beats the renewal premium from them by nearly £80
This is by far the best I've found, would recommend anyone renewing to give Peter S Taylor a call on (01273) 820303.
