just got another 944 (2.5 Dreg). the rear seats are missing and the whole of the interior trim of the boot area is missing -what ever trim should be there?. i am finding that i have lots of transmission noise with the rear stripped out and would like some 2nd hand interior. my front interior in that kakky purple/maroon colour. please email me if you have any cheap interor- doenst matter if its tatty.. just cheap. ta. i'm in Telford, midlands. my email is hsio@hotmail.co.uk

Long strips of carpet on either side of the load deck. A thick foam backed carpet covering the load deck. A glued in bodyshell-shaped rear squab and a seat back which lays down to extend the load deck area.

The rear seats have very little value and they shouldnt be tatty (unless sun bleached or damaged through water ingress). The rear carpet trims are equally valueless although a good boot carpet will always attract a buyer.

thanks for info. better idea of what i need now. hopefully some forum members will have some bits for sale.

when u say damaged its mostly cosmetic unless you know different.. it has 2 big cracks in the paint on the front wing. and a dodgey repair to a rear arch at the back.

Soooty,

I have a back seat - both parts (squab and backrest, as Simon described). They are cluttering up my basement and need to be put up for sale somewhere. Make me an offer.

Two snags.

1. They are in linen, so not the same colour as your fronts.
2. I am in London (but have relatives in Shropshire, so meeting up in the area is a possiblity if you can wait until a suitable time.)

I'm not sure I've seen the option code for "broom" anywhere.
That must be a very rare car [:D]

Come on everyone there's no need to let this descend into a slanging match.
My comment was meant in jest and I think Sooty took it that way. No it wasn't very practical as answers go but occasionally something just strikes you as amusing.

Sooty I think you have sourced your bits reading the other forum but if there are some odds and ends missing don't forget the OPC. They are often cheaper than the breakers and ebay and certainly Exeter will post out 2nd class FOC to us.
Hope that's a bit more useful.
David
