I currently own a 944t 1990 in mint condition 85K miles and would be looking for approx £9000 if selling

any way I have been offered the following cars for a straight swap and would like your thoughts please

(will add photos later)

a 1972 show condition California look beetle with 1500 rebuilt engine, new respray and interior.

a 1980 924 turbo that has a 924 CGT panel kit professionally fitted, with fibreglass bonnet, fixed hid lights, 944 turbo brakes, Fuch alloys, in black with full cage, cut off switches, collapsible steering wheel - basically a road legal track day car but very good condition - needs gearbox linkages rebushing as little sloppy. Recent head work carried out.

a 1987 944 with S2 engine , partially welded on sills (probably a breaker) but loads of paperwork.

Anyway i have always fancied a nice beetle to travel the 7 miles to work and at the moment my turbo just doesn't get used.

suppose what i need to know is do you think that it is a good swap and what do you think a 924T cgt replica is worth as i would probably keep the beetle and move this on.

cheers Elliot

You should have posted in the 944 forum Elliot, we would have seen this! [:D]

3 cars for one doesn't sound bad to me although yours is mint.

Did you do the deal in the end? If not, I've just sold mine, so hold on to yours for a few more months until my itch is too great for another one and I buy it! [8D]

Hi Andy
didn't do the deal but have just seen a one owner 928 that I want so will be pushing the sale of mine now - let me know if your serious as I would rather sell it to someone local.

ps chap who brought your turbo called me today

cheers Elliot
