Never heard of this model!!!!

Neither had I until recently when i saw a link to what I think is the same car a few weeks ago.

"Studio" refers to the name Porsche gives to the "burgundy plaid[:'(]" pattern of the interior trim of the Silver Rose.

I think...

It does. That car has black and white studio cloth as I recall. There were more pictures in the last link I saw.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]The wheels are body coloured also. I can't say I like it personally.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

According to Peter Morgans book the model that celebrated the 100,000th 944 was the "Celebration", produced in Zermatt Silver or Satin Black metallic. The rest of the description sounds the same with 'Studio' grey/dark red cloth and silver-grey carpet.

The studio trim is also available in blue (2 tone tartan), I have a set......the cats like it.

Fen, any chance of giving me the paint code of your car, my racecar is the same colour but none of the code lables are on the shell, also what's the colour name in German?

Car is in the body shop today - in an effort to get it ready for Snetterton!

cheers

According to my buyers guide the studio was " A special based on the 944 Lux. Only 30 cars appeared in the UK and featured silver paint, split rear seating, a luggage cover and automatic heating control".

The studio trim I have in my 944 in mauve/grey. Looks good with the exterior (Sapphire Blau). Both the front seats are electric which I understand is usual.
Cheers,

I'm not totally against Studio. I saw an S2 that someone on here was thinking of buying on eBay that had been retrimmed recently in black Studio half "leather" and I could have lived with it for sure.

Mine has a Linen Studio check interior which is quite pleasant, but drivers seat needs a re-trim and unfortunately it is not possible to get hold of the material anymore as it is no longer produced. :-(

Nathan,
Give Southbound Trimmers a call they bought up a shed load of material from the factory & dealers a couple of years ago, you may be pleasantly surprised. They will charge well though.

Thanks Graeme, but I have checked with them several times - they told me to keep checking in with them every now and again in case they pick something up but no luck so far. Have considered retrimming seat faces in either linen logo cloth or leather, but to do door panels and rear split seat to match is quite pricey either way. If I could find a decent secondhand rear seat that might help and get panels and front seat faces done to match. Guess I'll have to keep looking! Shame though as it makes the car look tatty.
