New 944 Owner

Just bought my second 944 today. Had one a few years back, but only had it for a month or so because of problems with it, but knew that I would have another at some time.
Anyway - my latest purchase -
1983 Lux in Black
Fitted with Teledials and later turbo half leather seats (black)
Superb condition with just a few niggling points I wanted to ask you guys about.

1.) boot hydraulics - easy to replace?
2.) Gearstick is 'wiggly' - still very easy and smooth to change gear, just feels like a bush has worn on the selector maybe? - any advice?

Ill take some pictures later if the weather clears if you are interested.
