Hi folks, just wanted to say 'hi' and introduce myself. I recently picked up a guards red 964 c2 coupe and am rather smitten with it. Its in great shape and makes me smile every time i get into it. I plan to attend some cambs events and some Northants events as i live on the border. See you all around :)

Welcome to the Club, Joe!

You've joined at a great time for Region 10, as we're now having our monthly meeting at Porsche Experience Centre (Hangar Straight, Silverstone Circuit) and you"˜re very welcome to join us for the first of our new meets there on Sat 9th November (around 12.30 / 1pm).

.......If you'd like to meet some of us before that, though, we are having a temporary meet for this month this Sunday (13th October) at Jack's Hill Café (http://www.jackshillcafe.com/), just North of Towcester on the A5, at the same sort of time.
Yes, I know the weather's looking wet for the weekend, but hope you can make it - look forward to meeting you (and your car[:)])!

Hi Paul, Thanks! I plan to join some of the meets - hence the upfront introduction :) This Sunday we have a planned gig already in the afternoon but if i can manage timings i may well join you guys for an hour or so early doors. That said if it is pouring i will be leaving the car tucked up dry [:)]

I usually take the car out in (nearly) all weathers (not laying snow), but it does look like being a bit wet, doesn't it?
Hope to meet soon, anyway.

I know. And as much as i want to resist the 'garage queen' label I am not yet ready to take it out when it is already tipping down. If i get caught out, while out, that's different. Still, weather may be OK... weirder things happen.
