New 968 Record

Looks like we just set a new record for the maximum number of 968s together at one time in the UK, as no less than 31 turned up at the TIPEC meeting at Walton Hall today.

More details, and links to photos etc here ...

Well done chaps, just wish I'd been there.

Yep, you all certainly looked impressive parked along the tree lined drive to the house [8D]

Nice to meet a few of you and put faces to names. Bet you can't get to 40 next year [;)]

edited to add the taunt [:D]

Going to try for 40 on Sept 12th at Gawsworth Hall.

Full details on 968uk.co.uk as ever.

I for one will not be doing the concours -- saw the winning 968 that won the 'entrants' choice competition at Walton Hall -- it was immaculate. You could of eaten your dinner off the inside of the alloy rims!! (apparently I heard that the car is not even garaged overnight)

Strange that put me off having a go myself -- there are only so many hours in a day!!

(ps have just bought some of the dreaded clay bar and wax from Stu --- will see how the old girl polishes up)

It's high time that the Scottish contingent of the 968 Posse put in an appearance ... so shall I sign you up Kevin? Uncle Phil too?

John,

Perhaps this is not a bad idea, I certainly would like to see how a real concours car looks like !!

hopefully will see you later tonight and we can discuss with Unc.

cheers
Kevin
