Having paid my deposit I am still not sure whether to go for the 991 with PDK or the 991S with PDK.
I presently have a gen2 PDK 911S whch is coming up to 3 years old with low milage. I expect whatever, I will loose a lot of money on the exchange.

Sadly there will definitely be a large financial gap between your current car and the new one! But there's no way round that conundrum. However you try and justify the difference (and believe me I try) it's a big hit.

However; I was in a similar boat to you and decided that despite the attractions of the 991C2 with its low emissions, the lure of the extra 50bhp in the 2S and a couple of extra features was enough to swing it for me.

What spec are you considering other than pdk?

If I went for the 991C2 it will have the 20inch wheels and the sport steering wheel and sports exhaust. Also I need reverse parking sensors.

If I went for the 991C2S it will have similar options without the sport exhaust. I try and keep the price to no more than £85K, you can get stupid.

The 997S Gen 2 I have at the moment has sliding rood, adaptive seats, Bose, mobile phone, Cruise control reversing sensors. They are all nice to have and could live with out some of them especially the Bose and the mobile phone.

The new sliding roof looks tempting mind you.
Most probably it will be the 991C2S, I quite like white for a change with dark blue interior.

With a base price of £81k+ good luck with the budget! I think the one I specced came close to £95k[&:]

You could have the 991C2S in white with blue leather, manual, cruise, reverse sensors, Bose, phone, sunroof, warm steering wheel - even mats. Comes with 20" wheels as you know. All for under £85k. Bargain!

Yes, but add PDK, Sport Chrono Plus and decent seats to that Peter...........[;)] (And the telephone thingy and sports exhaust.....) Ooh er missus.[:D]

But that was not what the OP asked for - but of course, that's why mine is rather more expensive[]

Well he does want PDK - and no point in having that without Sport Chrono?[;)] It will be interesting to see what prices/specs the new register members settle on.

have decided to go now for a white S with black interior. PDK and classic wheels delivery in March. Test drive booked end of next week.

With PDCC? Sounds like it's a must have from the write ups.........

Have you fixed your order yet? Mine's for March delivery too and they're chasing final spec. What goodies did you decide on in the end?

the order has been submitted with a PDK, sport steering, classic wheels which look nice, reversing sensors, folding mirrors. I have not decided on the Sport exhaust system yet or the sport chrono until I have the test drive next Saturday.

Test drive next Saturday for me too [:D][:D] Sensible spec btw, am also interested in trying the new sports exhaust, but sport chrono is a must with pdk imo.

I can't decide whether to go for the sport chrono package. Most people advice is I should go for it.
