HI All
woukd appreciate anyone’s thoughts and advice please.
i currently have a 991.1 GTS which I have had for two and a half years and absolutely love. I’ve used this year to do the alps, Porsche factory and various other trips and it hasn’t put a foot wrong, stunning car.
i do however like to change and wanted a bit of open air motoring. thinking about one of three options:
- keep the 991.1 GTS long term, having just bought a new 2 yr Porsche warranty, but think about adding a Porsche Boxster Spyder, ideally the 3.8 if it comes down a bit or an older version Spyder if not.
- keep the 991.1 GTS and add a 993 Cabrio.
- put my name down for a 992 Targa, maybe GTS spec and part ex the 991.
The 992 Targa is likely to be around £130k specced, so cost to change of around £50k (assuming £80k for my GTS) or use that £50k for an addition to the garage.
Using my man economics i think the second car may mean lower depreciation but higher maintenance and running costs.
any thoughts welcomed
