i run a Porsche Cayenne daily and love it's comfort, spec, looks and economy but it I just don't get a buzz from it, so after debating 997, 996, 993 etc etc as a weekend toy, I have finally bought a 993 c4 coupe, manual gearbox and varioram engine. After following one out of Althorpe earlier this year my mind was made up!!
I have read review after review on the 993 and to be honest what people say is absolutely spot on, built quality, usability, sound and most importantly looks are amazing. I am not surprised these cars are raising in value so quickly and I'm glad I've jumped on the bandwagon now before they get out of reach.
Why did I not buy one of these years ago???
i hope you guys feel the same and get the same enjoyment that I'm getting, any help, tips or advice are gladly received.
thanks Chris

They really are great cars and still one of the prettiest 911s in my opinion.
Things to watch out for -
Rattling windscreen due to the bond between glass and bodyshell wearing out, and lower cam covers leaking oil.
Apart from that pretty bulletproof. Enjoy.
its such a sexy looking car !!!!
And if you want to exploit it: that little bit extra progress through the gears, the extra surefootedness in the wet and spray around the twisties, compared to the regular 2's, as well as stiffer engine mounts and greater stability / better front:rear balance - what is there not to like ... ?
