Hopefully you'll have a nice surprise in the post - a new 997 brochure to coincide with todays official reveal on the generation 2 cars. Looks teriffic ! New wheels are nice, Carrera comes with a GT3 look-alike 18" wheel, and the Carrera S a new 19" 5-star double spoke design like the Ferrari 430 wheels. PDK details in there, paddles are bizzarely on the front of the steering wheel (new designs) where the current tiptronic buttons are now. New PCM looks very good, all new graphics and hard-drive based navigation. Carrera looks like it will be more popular moving forward with 345 BHP and 225 g/km CO2.

Porsche Racing Green colour looks good in the brochure, think James Bond XK8 colour from Die Another Day.

Launch colours in borchure are Macademia, Racing Green, Arctic Silver and Carrara white.

Lights and bumpers job, so no doubt the parts-suppliers will be doing update kits for us in a couple of months, as they did with the Boxsters in 2003 !

Details on C4 models released end of June.
