We picked up our 997 carrera today in GT Silver with ocean blue interior, she looks completely awesome, pics to follow. Was sad to see the Boxster go but the extra seats for the growing family will be great.
I'm a little worried however, as tick over is a bit rough and the tacho seems to be hunting up and down. I get a high frequency shake at idle on tick over constantly that seems to vary a little depending on whether the air con compressor is activated (Econ on/off). The Boxster was completely smooth at tick over, is this a 997 trait guys? Also on start up there is a real short lived clatter from the right hand exhaust. It's all taking the excitement away at the moment. The car was a bit hesitant on acceleration too when cold.
The car has done 20,000 miles and I have 12 mths OPC warranty.
