Congrat on the new car... Been told the best way is to install a Dension Gateway, it also supports the i-phone. You can use all the facilities of the i-pad/ phone. There is somewhere in this site a thread about it as had asked the same question a few years back...

Will be proud owner of 2008 997 C2s come friday and already have a question concerning Audio!

I want to replace the Porsche unit with an Ipod compatible unit, any advice on which i can use, or has anyone carried out this project already?

Many thanks

Liam

As above... or a complete replacement unit, Richard had done something very similar in his 996 garyw

Hi Liam, A quick cheap/temporary fix is an FM transmitter-it plugs into your i-pod and you tune your radio and the unit to 105 FM (or any free frequency in your area) I got mine on Amazon about £4 including postage, came with incar charger and remote control as well as the FM unit.
