Hi everyone,

I am looking to replace my 'Porsche RS battery'.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated as to sticking with a Porsche or getting another.

Stick with it. Just changed my heavier replacement for the original, smaller, lighter RS version. Need to get battery acid as well of course. Helps combat understeer on the track of course too! [;)] Recommended. [8|]

Batterie 12V 36Ah für 911

Porsche recently re-introduced an original 36AH battery, made by the well known manufacturer MOLL. MOLL batteries regularly receive a good rating. Porsche charges 162 Euros for the battery over here.

I bought the very same type with an 38AH rating of the local MOLL service point in Cologne 2 weeks ago. Same measurements as the 36AH version. The 38AH version cost me 63 Euros incl. VAT. However, it does not carry the "Porsche" logo on it. I think I can live with that.
