My battery was getting rather ropey. It needed regular top up charges and starting sounded rather laboured. It was an unbranded one which has only lasted about 3 years. (The original Porsche Moll one lasted 4 and a half years).
So time for a new one.
I went for a Bosch Silver Plus S5 010 85Ah 800CCA 5 year warranty. I know it's a bit more than Porsche spec for the car but it appears to be the same dimensions as the Moll one I had originally. I fitted it last night and starting up this morning sounded much better.
Cost £79.15 inc VAT and P&P from Euro Car Parts I used the discount code CRAZY25 which gives 25% off the original price of £105.54. I think the code may be good till the end of the month
