If I have to invest in a new battery, roughly what should I expect to pay at an OPC for it to be supplied and fitted?

Hi

I had mine done before Christmas at my local OPC with the PCGB discount it came to £214.00 supplied and fitted and they washed the car!

Just get a Bosch one from Halfords for £89-£110 and fit it yourself...it literally takes 2 minutes

Both posts are correct, the Bosch is pretty much the exact same battery, if you are out of waranty then thats the way to go... if in warranty you have to have the Porsche version.. I say 'have to' as in if you want to renew warranty next time round...?

My wife's Land Rover Disco at just about 2+ years old battery started to fail. Complete loss of charge on two recent occasions . Most surprised that unedr the Land Rover warranty we got a replacement battery free of charge. Hmmm . Something for Porsche to think about?

My 3 year old 997 with 10k on the clock had to have a replacement battery just before Christmas. In spite of "extended warranty" cost £184 from hatfield and self fitted!
