Hi there,I stripped the front of my 1990 s2 engine today and as expected the rollers were all shot. I had just planned to replace the belts and rollers and overhaul the alternator. I checked the waterpump and although it is not leaking I am not happy with the bearing so it will have to be replaced. Can anyone advise point me to the best deal for these parts,Europarts wants £362 inc vat for a pump, design 911 wants 299inc vat, can,t find one lised at Berts,Promax do a belt kit for around £200 any advice would be appreciated , thanks in advance, John.

Yes getting stuff from the states can be cheaper and quicker. I got my K26 turbo from lyndsey in Oklahoma City in just two days whilst guys in the UK were still scratching their heads as to whether they could even look at it or not. Don't forget the dreaded import tax and VAT though!!! For instance for my turbo I got bummed for £100 import and VAT by UPS. You will usually get stung for anything over $100. Can sometimes be a fasle economy. Rollers and pumps are not that hard to come by. You should be ok sourcing from the UK. Just shop around. I am guessing you have the time as they haven't failed just yet???
