Have just bought my 3.2s after trawling around looking for the right car. I am so impressed with it. But the other half thinks its so embarrassing!
Is there anything I need to look out for? It's a 2000 manual with full Porsche history and has 77000 on the clock.

Welcome - and a bonus i feel - If the other half dont like the car - she wont drive it. But what is embarrasing? the attention the car draws!!!
Just have fun with it (The car that is)

Well if its that embarrassing for the wife she has a choice of Boots[;)] Three in total. Her own or Boxster Front or Rear[;)]

I've got a couple of friends whose wives were embarrassed, strange things wives.

Except mine that is, funny but one of my wife's workmates saw mine and said midlife crisis? My wife just said no he's always had sports cars just took a while to get the first Porsche.

Just got my first Porsche. A Boxster S. Got her in Sept and the missus loves it. Got a manual, unfortunately for her she can't drive manuals [;)] Had some great fun in it.
