New Boxsters at Millbrook today?

My missus claims to have seen about 5 new Boxsters on German plates driving through our village today coming from the direction of the Millbrook testing track.

Anyone know what has been going on?

Yes,

Not sure to the overall extent, but, the sales team from OPC Reading have been at Millbrook doing "familiarisation" of the new '05 Boxster. I think they've had all the versions so that close comparisons can be made. Of course the team couldn't all go on the one day, who would do the daily selling, so they have split it over a couple of days. I take it then that it is now finished and the cars are on there way home.

I have already got my test drive slot booked with one of the participants of this event, and I am keen to hear in detail how they found them. There did seem to be a tone of exitement in the voice of the person I spoke to.

[]Hope not as my PC sales person is off to Millbrook today 18/11/04 for his days thrashing around Millbrook in a MY05 [;)] Will report back findings to me tomorrow hopefully [&o]

Like I said, I wasn't sure of the extent, I imagined that all OPCs would have there opportunity, but where were they going in the evening?

Maybe to get fish & chips with lots of salt 'n' vineagar, and then eat them with the hoods up.
