New Boxter S courtesy car

How chuffed was I, yesterday my car was booked in at the local OPC for its 12000 mile service, I also asked for a courtesy car as well.
Little did I know but my car turned out to be a brand new Boxter S with pdk, with and get this, 20 miles on the clock, so literally brand new.
The new Boxter is an amazing car, I've never been in a car that got so many looks from passers by. Its performance is quite astounding, with a very Gt3 soundtrack which made me want to constantly open her up.
If there was ever an additional reason to get work done at an OPC then this was it, i'm now going to try to find some more problems with my car.[;)]

Having visited PC Cambridge I did speak about this at our last Club night!

Sounds like you were pretty smitten with the new offering - is the turbo safe?[8|]

Lucky lad.

Took my Cayman S Tip to OPC Leicester (Sytner) for service recently and all I got was a very basic spec Cayman 2.9 manual.

All you got was a new Porsche Cayman - how did you cope? [:D][:D][:D]

Have to say, Bolton have always been very good to me with a variety of young Boxsters and Caymen over the years, other times they have offered to collect and return my car when that was more convenient.

All i got was a lift to the nearest bus stop to get the bus home some 30mls away ..so think yourselves lucky [:(]

I didn't say it was not good fun though.

It did have 543 miles on it btw!

I always like it when I am loaned a different model - I recently had a Boxster S PDK with all the toys which was good fun. I particularly liked its ability to electrically raise the roof from the driver's seat when it started raining. They should invent that feature for the Spyder!

I am so sad that I even washed it for them with Zymol and microfibre cloths (mind you, I did have it a while!).

If we're lucky maybe the Spyder will get a roof like this:
