New member
Hello all,
Just introducing myself as a new member and new to Porsche ownership having recently acquired a 1993 964 c2 cabriolet in black on black. (pic below).
Have jumped from owning several classic Mercedes over last 15 years to fulfilling a boyhood dream of 911 ownership.
Looked at several 996,s of differing vintage and specs but were too modern for me , if that makes sense?
Hope to be an active and positive forum contributer but obviously have loads of questions to ask, so please forgive some of the more naive ones!
Based in kent/ South London borders , 2 sons in their early teens (who cost me a fortune in cash and time) , busy job, usual stuff.
Have been a member for little while but only collected car recently . Initial thoughts are "what have I done????" but can't help going into garage to look at it.
Car is defo not a trailer queen , 120k miles, multiple owners, but sourced via a well established specialist as a commission sale.
Signing off now as am being dad cab for rest of day.
Regards
Graham H.

Welcome Graham to the 964 section of the club.
Very nice looking car and I hope you have lots of fun in it.
We appreciate any contributions and will answer any queries as they arise.

Well done Graham. While there is still some good weather with us get out and use it as often as you can - locked up under a cover for most the month is a waste of time :) Start your to-do/project list and prep for these over the winter period and ready for spring next year. Enjoy..

Congratulations!

I think many new owners, myself included, take a little while to properly 'get' the 964, but once you 'get' it there is no turning back.

Thanks for the welcome - had hoped to get down tot he winter check event at Tonbridge but all booked up - am on "reserve list" but do you think I could turn up anyway?
regards
GH.

Wow
Nice first Porsche 964.
Maybe a marmite car but WHAT a car
Just enjoy every moment of it . If you are still admiring it should be on your drive way,
