Hiya,,,,
just wanted to ask if there is any other place to buy og mats?,,,
so far porscheshop have all colours for £200 and Design911 have just black for £150,,not rang pc East London yet,,,,
was thinking of grey instead of the usual black also tahoe blue but they may look odd with Dove Blue though,,,,
cheers jasonp

If you do go for OEM, i'd love to know how the metal clips are suppose to work. They come with 4, but only the short ones fit my drivers side and the long ones are far to long for the passenger side.

yeah Andy,,thats what i have and had in my last s2 but i believe the og mats at shops listed above dont have the clips,,just non-sliding i believe but i would need to double check before ordering,,,,,jasonp

Thanks Chris,,,
as i understand the mats are fitted and dont contain the clips.,,
looks that way on there pics at porscheshop and design911...jay

Forgot to mention, those docs are for LHD cars, you just have to transpose the instructions for RHD cars (pretty obvious when you look at the photos!). Also IIRC the mounts are sold separately to the mats, I think I had to buy them for my coupe, not sure if I got them from OPC or Ebay.

I'll have to dig that shiny stainless Dansk out from the back of the shed...

I bought some black ones recently from Germany via Porsche, Silverstone. I'm sure they were about 130. Came with the metal things, but they didnt appear to fit at all, so they're in a drawer somewhere. The mats themselves are nice and fit, but not as perfectly as you would expect for OEM.

design 911 have them £150 Roger but i would need to check for clips plus they only have black,,,jasonp

Porsche have them in Black, Colbalt Blue, Classic Grey, Cashmere Beige and Chestnut Brown. They will all come with the 4 metal fixing brackets

I was going to suggest the original Porsche rubber mats to cover the old mats, but not sure they ever made a set for RHD cars and it seems that even the LHD set is not available anymore.
I really enjoy it as I can't be bothered anymore getting into the car with filthy shoes and I will pretty much never have to worry about replacing the mats ever again.

I agree, the longer legs on the drivers side don't leave enough room for the mat to fit. All a bit strange really. Hay ho the shorter ones do fit the drivers side. But I do find they get caught on the seat runners, as if the seat does not quite clear them.
