New Clutch

Don't know what they are offering, but I retain the std clutch and flywheel in mine and have no issues. I used the std set up in my 993 Carrera too. I did think of the lightweight flywheel from the 964rs in both but rejected it on the basis in the 964 i did find it a little tedious with its stalling antics! I understand 993s are far better in that regard as they control their idle more effectively however. Kind regards

Piers, probably down to different clutches to match different flywheels....if you don't have single mass already that is another discussion...easier to phone JZ-M to clarify as changing flywheel will obviously cost extra in parts & labour. Still a few of us SY owners left,,,dwindling as the weeks pass!

I'm getting close to needing new clutch.......don't want it to 'go' at Spa or the Ring this July...that would be, as Kevin Kline put it in A Fish Called Wanda, 'DISSAPOINTING!!'

I see JZ Machtech offer a 'Road' or 'Sport' option. What is the difference?

Thanks Piers
