After a seemingly indefinite wait my pride and joy was delivered today! it's an agate grey C4S
Platt... I hope this confirms you made a good choice of colour!
I haven't had chance to take any decent pics yet due to the 'typical' uk weather but I've taken a few photos on my phone which I'll add in a moment. I'll add a few more when the weather permits.
This is my first porsche having had AMG Previously. I am absolutely thrilled and want to extend an appreciation to everyone in this forum for keeping me sane whilst I awaited the arrival. It's great to see the range of discussion and passion for the car and I can sense all that even more now that I've been able to drive it for an appreciable 50 miles
Tomorrow is me-time to really explore the car...

Build;
Agate grey exterior with black and platinum interior
Sport techno wheels (painted exterior colour)
Sport chrono, Sport front spoiler and sport design wheel
Pdk transmission (sorry to the MT lovers!)
PCM with navigation
Plus lots of little bits and bobs!... Too many to list!

Here's the pic

Congratulations. Excellent colour choice (of course). Enjoy your beautiful new toy

Regards

Looks gorgeous! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!

For my own sanity how long did it take from factory birth tip showroom delivery...?

Hi platt. I ordered it 8th march, Build allocation date 23rd April, delivery to opc 30th April, collection 2nd May, smiles ever since!
I think this was a slightly accelerated build compared to the norm... Expect a few weeks more normally... But the build to delivery should be circa 10 days for UK.
By the way... Photos rarely do this colour justice... In the flesh it is far less 'matt/dull' than it looks in most photos. It is a nice metallic tone with a real 'zing' to it under daylight. The whole car has far exceeded my expectations in every respect!
When is your build date? You must be very excited! Do keep us posted please.

Have been told car will be ready on 9th (Friday) then could take up to 15 days from then...but of course could be sooner (fingers crossed)

As said before I am taking delivery at home..

I bet you are buzzing and will be clocking the miles today.... for me its the finest all round car on the planet!!!

I think the 'build date' is the last date on the production line so I guess your car will already be in progress! Good luck on the timing and pls post some pics when it arrives!

Nice choice of colour and extras - welcome and hope you enjoy your new baby! Here's your picture for those with an iPad [:D]

Good colour choice.[:)]

I'm sure you did the right thing by going for PDK. The current mapping is highly intuitive and a pleasure to use.

And as I understand it the 7 speed manual is based on the PDK box but whether you need two left feet to operate two clutches I'm not sure.

Hopefully you have been out enjoying this fine dry weather.
