Just had my C4S serviced and at 64k miles it needs new fronts and will shortly need new rears.
As its a tiptronic I don't think that's bad
I reckon I'm in for a bill of about £1200 but what do you think?
Toying with diy but it will take much longer to get done and not sure I really want to spend the time.
Any ideas about OE, against others? Recommendations much appreciated.
Road use only no track work!

Hi
If as you say you're toying with the idea of diy then go for it, one of the easiest diy jobs on a 996, you will find lots of
Suppliers around and will be able to diy for 1/2 the cost you stated. All the advice you need is in the technical
Articles section.
Best of luck
Andy

I recently got all disc, pads (including sensors and shims), handbrake shoes and fluid done. Bits came to about £550 from Euro Car Parts.

Just sent mine for disks and pads all round on 996 Turbo - putting pagid blue pads on - just shy on £1800. I don't trust myself to do DIY so have to suck up the cost! If you are that way inclined its a good saving [:D]

Just received pagid discs all round and rear pads - but ATE front pads - from online company for £375. fitting by a friend of mine for £50 job done, Its as expensive as you make it!!
